Default TEA stg 2.5 LS6 heads and G5X4 (472rwhp) dyno and track times within.

My combo consists of a 373 short block, 3.905 bore, 3.9 stroke, G5X4, TEA stg 2.5 LS6 heads and a Th400 with a TCT converter. All dyno's were done on Hooser 29in drag slicks with a 12 bolt with 4.33's in the butt. The motor has 12.2-1 compression and was ran with 28* of timing. The car made 472.2rwhp at 6800 and 513.4 rwtq at 3800. My car has a 3400lb race weight and in 90* air went 10.80@126.7 on a 1.52 60ft. We were having a hard time hooking it up due to old tire I guess. This is also a N20 setup everone as was the converter. I just wanted to let everyone know about these great products and companies. I will not be making anymore new bests as a rod decided to leave the block last night. So if your looking for heads call TEA, a cam call LG, you need a converter call TCT. Back to retirement for me.

If the cam follows the same pattern as the other X cams, it should be around 236/244 114 +4 XE-R lobes. Good motor cam that also works great with the spray. If he got the TEA/Judson heads, they should have been around $3,000. That includes the core price of LS-6 heads and hand finishing. Nice combo. Looks like it's time for a forged motor and more cubes!

It was a forged motor. The cam specs are secret, I don't even know them. I do know it's a big block cam i.e ment for 422+ cars. The heads I got through brian Tooley as a sponser deal.

Uh, does this mean I can borrow them back??

Better yet, put em on Shawn's car with some flycut pistons and see if that thing will go low 10's. Need to borrow a piston notching tool? Let me know.

Sorry for the rod issue, if it wasn't for bad luck you would have no luck at all.

My car will be cam only/ 150 shot -o- nitrous until my Rod decides to exit the block.

Plenty quick and thusfar reliable.

I have no clue what the cam specs are, but I have crap for vacume at idel. I pulled the head on the ofending side everthing looks good except the exhaust valve. It seems the wrist pin failed causing the rod to brake and put 2 very big holes in the block. I will NEVER buy a JE piston again. 25 passes and BOOM!

Also I just wanted to say the Speed Inc did all the tuning and helped me sort out a lot of problems I had in the begining. They are a top notch shop.

Damn that sucks, sounds like you have a real nice setup there, hate to see something like this happen. When do you think you will get everything going again, or are you truely serious about the whole retirement deal?

That aint no lie, they always did me well there too.

It all depends on if my crank is reusable, looking unlikely though. Im not about to drop 2K on another crank. If thats the case I will see how this LS2 block thing pans out and just toss in a stock crank with some good rods. Drag racing is like a crack habbit to me, despite better judgement I always come back for more. I just wish I could have sprayed that motor as it was a N20 motor with a N20 converter. I think mid to low 9's would have been no problem.

If anyone has any Q's about the combo shoot me a PM. I can't say enough about these heads. The car ran like it was on spray with them, and it was acused (sp) of it every time I ran it! P.S all my 10.8 passes were in 2300-2400 DA of air.

Cash will be a factor, as will if the crank is reusable. Hi Sean!

About what would that number come out to be in a 6 speed car. Would Tq controlable on street tires. Could I drop it on the freeway at about 50mph and keep it going straight.
