The finished long block, I bet, would be as much as a 427 or a little more. My guess would be 13-15k.

just watched the vid of this car and i would have to say that is by far the most radical sounding LS1 based engine i have ever heard. props to you for goin BIG cubes and BIG cam.

My 454 breaks down like this:
Short block $7600
Heads $3500 (ET heads, not HPE)
Custom rockers for the above heads $1500
Cam $400
Intake $1300

That's for the basics of the long block. Then you have all the other parts needed to go with it. $$$$
