Default TR224 114 LSA Dyno

I have seen all of the 380+ TR224's and I was just wondering what you guys think.

The red lines are untuned and the blue lines are tuned. This is with all of the mods in the signature.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I took it to the track.

I was only able to make one pass and I got a 12.8 @ 115mph with a 2.2 60'

I didn't heat the nittos up that well, spun through 3rd.

Wish I knew. If I were to guess it was probably 290 or so stock, considering it is a '98

Seems just a little low for the TR. I would of guessed around 380 or so.

My dyno looks almost exactly like yours and I Dyno'd @CAM also. I think your fine.....I ran 117-118 trap speeds with the tr224 and it drives awsome.

Car is a 99 vette 6m

mods:
TR 224 114
FLP long tube headers
3:90 rear
LS6 intake
CAI

There was a 99 Z28 before me with full exhaust/cutout and a stall, iirc. He dynoed 304rwhp. He did do 411rwhp with nitrous though

The exhaust flows fine, two striaght through bullets. Cutout would probably be useless.

I am not really complaining about the numbers, I think they are fine. The car feels and drives awesome.

I need to take it to the track soon though

What year is your car? And what was the casting on the heads?

Numbers are lower than normal but I would be more concerned with your lean A/F ratio! From 2500-3500rpms it's almost 13.8-1, necks back down to 13.2-1 for awhile but IMO it's still to lean for the street. Alot of guys don't like it above 12.8-1 on the dyno as it usually is a tad higher on the street.

Your 4.10's are probably eating up close to 10 rwhp hp compared to the 3.42 cars. So put your numbers at 377 and you're right on par with what you usually see from this cam.

That cam is probably ground +4 which is making the power peak too early. If you can retard the cam 4 degrees (for an intake centerline of 112), you will pick up at least 10 rwhp. You need to have a power peak above 6000 rpm. Your's is more like 5500.
