LS2 w G5X-4 cam only, LG Headers, Fast intake-460rwhp 425rwtq
460 rwhp 425 rwtq
This is a C6 as in our last post but we just changed the stock LS2 90 manifold to a Fast 90 manifold and left the stock throttle body on.
That is a 20 hp increase over the stock LS2 intake with the Fast intake.
Mods as follows:
Stock Heads, un touched, never off
Stock Water pump
Stock pulley
Stock clutch
LG Pro Long Tube headers
Borla Stinger muffler
G5X-4 cam by LG Motorsports
Upgraded valve springs
LS 2 edit by LGM
This would be a 540 hp package at the flywheel.
We will put a video of the idle quality up. Monday we will change the heads to AFR 225 heads. this will probably knock our socks off.
thanks guys.

first graph is of the final numbers and
the next graph is the before and after Fast intake manifold change

Dirty Lou, just dirty!!! We'll see how my X4 does in a '99 SS, stock 853 castings, 93k miles on the motor, 12 bolt w/ 4.11's, McLeod street twin, LS6 intake, home ported TB, stock water pump, ASP crank pulley, Pacesetter LT's, 3" y-pipe w/ no cats through a cutout., 18" wheels and all. I'd be SUPER happy with 410+rwhp.

WOW, wonder what a stock headed " LS2 Heads " 402 c.i. LS2 would do with the same mods. Immagine untouched heads and 500 to the wheels. Wonder if it could be done with some additional bolt ons ?
Congrats Lou.
Congrats Lou.

Thanks guys,
No we just put the Fast intake on right out of the box. That shows how bad the LS2 intake really is. We did use the stock Throttle body because of the TB motor and wireing.
After the AFR head install we will take it off and port the TB.
Thanks

The Fast has 5 bolts and the stock LS2 has 4 bolts. They are the same pattern so it just bolts up.
