Yes I do have results, 422/399 so a gain of 8 rwhp and 4 ft lbs of torque. Since then I have remeoved the shorties and have installed longtubes with factory Z06 cats. Should have dyno results as soon as my clutch is replaced. The results next time may be quite a bit lower. I am putting my vortex cold air box back on. On the dyno the difference between the Vortex and the Stinger with the hood open is around 7-8 rwhp. I am switching too the vortex because I feel it doesn't dyno as good but it brings in the outside air versus the underhood air which is alot hotter. I have the CheaTR in my hands a swell but it won't be installed until my new clutch is in and i have some dyno and track #'s with the stock cam.

COOL... Would u post a dyno-graph. I have a friend with a 02 ZO6 and I have almost got him convinced in going with AFRs...

Thanks,

If Vortech got 8/4 over an Z06 manifolds then over the LS1 manifolds I'd expect a shorty should be worth 13RWH/9RWT and if u then added HF cats u could realistically pick up another 5 to 7RW.....

I'm hoping my Shorty/HF catted pipes and X pipe are worth 16RW over the stock 04 GTO manifolds and exhaust which for me would be a good gain, especially for under a total of 700.00

Okay guys I have some bad news-please be kind. I just realized that my pulls were in STD!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!I don't know why but I specifically told these guys to correct it in SAE-but I guess this Dyno operator thinks STD #'s are more correct. Anyway I do have the corrected #'s and he's going to fax me the graphs. The 414/395 is SAE corrected to 404/385. The 422/399 is SAE corrected to 411/388. I'm really sorry about this guys-I don't know how the hell I missed this. Every other graph I have from this shop is in SAE because I specifically asked for that. I hope this doesn't kill everyones plans-don't forget that this is with the factory LS6 cam and through the factory Z06 cats. ****-I feel bad about this-I'm really really sorry.

Dyno numbers don't change the impressive times. What were the track conditions w/ that 11.6?

Don't sweat it Vortech, you're still head and shoulders above what most others are making for such mild mods. The delta of before verses after mods are what matters the most as dynos do vary.

Man I was so pumped when I saw 414 and I wanted to tell you guys that Patrick G was right all along-you can have your cake and eat it too. I'm going to have to open my eyes wider next time. The crazy thing with the 11.656@117.75 was that was with just a CAI and ET STREETS back in Oct/02. The car dyno'd at 370rwhp. The weather was cold-jacket req'd for sure. I have yet to get down to the track and similar conditions with the new combo but crazy me i've already changed the combo again. I now have full lengths instead of the manifolds but i'm still running the factory Z06 cats. The car's getting a clutch right now-get this the clutch failed the night after installing the full lenghts-can you believe that! That means the headers must come off again! Anyway I won't be looking for the ET when I hit the track this year, I don't want to break anything so my goal is to run 11.80's@122 on radials. I'm putting a stock Z06 clutch back in as it gives a much softer launch than the Exedy. I'm kinda pissed the new Textralia wasn't available yet-i know i'm going to have to get that when my z06 clutch dies. I may be able to go to the track this friday night-clutch should be done tomorrow night. I have yet to tune the car with the full lenghts but that shouldn't be too difficult with the LM-1. Then it's time for cam-it's been sitting on my shelf calling me to install it!

I agree those # are still sick....
Like I said your getting a good gain from a shorty over the Z06 E. manifolds
7RW would be around 12RW compared to a LS1 E. manifold

And Pat's post was made in 2005 which was 7 years ago. So his frame of reference is 2002-2003.

Wow, time to lock this one up! I think the forum should just automatically lock a thread after 2 or 3 years of inactivity.

However, I do get a laugh when I get an email, "LS1Tech, "Reply to Zombie thread from 6 years ago"

Great numbers to the OP with that set-up, my comment is like JAKE FUSION said earlier LT heaaders add more than 10 hp , my 03 Zo6 back in Feb 2011 i posted my Dyno which before my mods CAI only was 370hp 360 tq after XS LTs with high flow cats and Magnaflow catback, and tuned by G.R.E.A.D Tuning in Corydon IN on a mustang dyno did 401 hp and 394 tq, not to take this away from anything but it has been done , soon will be getting with Patrick G on a cam that with match up with my stage 3 IPS Heads (Liverous) that i bought from a member on here, any how great numbers, drive it like u stole it.
