Default TEA 5.3's,FM13,Fast 90w/ NW TB

Hey guys, well i finally got the parts pile in my bedroom put on,lol. I also installed a March pulley, lucas 32# injectors and switched from the borla to a set of lanes true duals. I made 434 rwhp and 396 rwtq. I was hoping for around 450 but oh well. I will get a graph up later this week. Car feels good but the clutch hates the new found power. I wonder if that has anything to do with my numbers. I cant speed shift at all and if i get on the car hard i cant get it in gear until the rpm's come back down. So it's off to the track to see how she runs, after i get my spec 3 installed. Oh, a buddie of mine w/ a set of PP 5.3's and a g5x3 w/ all the bolt ons only made 418 on this dyno. So i cant wait to get to the track. Charles

434rwhp and 396rwtq should make your car haul some *** down the 1320. Good luck man .

Oh i forgot to add that it was with 24 degrees of total timing. and the a/f was pretty much mid 13's across the board.

Hmmm... maybe a little more timing??? 26-27??? I am getting away with 28 and no KR yet....

FYI I tried 30* but saw no improvement in HP...

the guy that tuned it said it made like .2 more power at 27 degrees so there was no need to run that much. the car still hunts for idle sometimes and has already thrown a code so i have to take it back and get him to play with it a little. t sounds great and drives great, 6th gear w/ the ac on on the highway there was zero issues. i think i would have gotten more power if the cam was a 112 straight up. now im about to die, the clutch wont let me really see what this baby will do.

I think the power band is awsome like it is on a 112+4 . Makes power every where and not just up top.

My car is heavy so I want power from start to finish , not just on the dyno at 6800 rpm's. My times are in sig at 3726 race weight

I am sure the 112 +0 would have made more peak... Thinking +2 or +1 might have been a better compromise. I have the same cam you do....

Yea i agree, my car made 300 ft lbs of tq @ 2400 rpm's and hits 350 @ 3000 rpm's. i am looking foward to running it but ill have to wait until i get the clutch installed.

That's a nice looking cam! I especially love the way the peak rotates at 6500, and then starts to taper off towards seven thousand. Much smoother and btw very good numbers before too.

Im happy the way the car pulls all the way to 7 grand. Im sure it will fly after i get the clutch issues out of the way. I will be getting a 12 bolt w/ 4.10's alot sooner now .

Nice numbers! I saw from the Tea GP post you were looking for 11:1 CR. Did you got the heads milled .015? What size head gaskets did you use? Did you have to flycut the pistons? I purchased a set of the Tea 1.5's when you did and I'm looking at changing cams to the FM13 like you have and was wondering if it will fit.

I used the fel pro gaskets, they compress to .52 thousandths and the heads were milled about .12 thousandths so i am close to 11.1. I didnt have to flycut my pistons. Good luck
