Default A4, 3500 stall & 12 bolt w/PRC heads & 230/232 cam

99 Trans Am
PRC stage 2.5 (5.3L) heads
230/232 591/595 112+2 cam
LS6 intake
ported TB
crank pulley
lid
Mac headers w/ORYP
Borla catback
Yank ST3500 stall
Moser 12 bolt w/3.42s

With the converter locked it put down 430 rwhp & 391 rwtq. Unlocked was 402 rwhp & 419 rwtq. ST3500 doesn't seem to be very efficient, but it does great at the track so no complaints. Torque wouldve been higher on the unlocked pull but it wasn't possible to get any lower rpm numbers due to the converter.

The new tune made a huge difference (thanks Bille @ Prescribed Power). Feels much stronger now and idles great.

Yeah I read another post on here a few months ago where someone else was talking about how inefficient their ST3500 was.. But I was still a little suprised at the 28 rwhp loss that I saw. Its a kick-*** converter at the track though.

I'm not sure what those heads raise the compression to. Terry?

The compression was raised to 10.8 with the PRC heads.
