Default 869 rwhp nitrous 408ci dyno graph

Last time we made 760 something rwhp going very rich. We changed the jetting around a bit and put 110 in the main tank and 110 in the Nitro Daves stand alone. Car made 465 rwhp NA on the 110 very rich with some timing pulled. But on the juice it really really really kicked like a friggen MULE.

It still has quite a bit more in it. So it made 465 rwhp on motor with the nitrous fuel and tune....and 869 rwhp on juice. Thats about a 405 rwhp gain. Im sure 900 would not ba a problem. The dyno operator got out of it a bit early...we only spun to about 6100 rpm. The dyno run only lasted about 2.25 seconds. The rpm pickup was acting up so it was tough to get a TQ reading. But it was around 700-780 for most of the rpm range. Again...this was through a T56 with a 9 inch rear and 3.90 gears. SPEC stage 5 clutch.

Im certain I can make 1000 on my combo.

Killer numbers.

Be wary of the SPEC at those power levels, you heads what happened to Vince's clutch.

Yep...I am aware of Vinces clutch. I will talk to Dan and recomend atleast a blanket. But a McCloed bellhousing would be very nice to have.

This is the setup. 1st stage dry on at 3200. First stage dry alone has made as much as 740 rwhp at 96% injector duty cycle and about 800 ft lbs Tq. Second dtage is NX DP 80000EFI kit. COntroller is the NX/FJO dual stage controller. Nice little unit for about $300 or so.

The bottom end is a Revxtreme built 408 with Callies crank and basic stuff otherwise. Im not sure of the rods or pistons. I think they were Callies rods and JE pistons. Motor is about 10.8 to 1 compression. Nothing extraordinary. Its all about control of cylinder pressure and the correct tuning/octane.

Car is dialy drivable. The most driver unfreindly thing is the spool. Other than that it has AC and all power stuff.

pretty frickin sweet man!! Its nice to see nitrous being pushed so far in my own backyard. I also did not think these motors forged or not could handle that much power but the proof is in that dyno for sure. Awesome combo, Congrats on the #s

Are you guys still running the stock PCM, or are you using a BS3/DFI setup?

What pump and injectors are being used for the dry stage? I'm wanting to do a dry only setup on my 408. It will be a little over 500rwhp NA, so I'll have to get about 175 or 200 at the rear wheels dry to make my 700rwhp goal.

Walbro 255 intank pump with hotwire kit, Ford green top 42 lb injectors, and I like to use Speed Incs volt blaster. Im telling you guys....700 rwhp is such a piece of cake with this combo. Then if you keep it all dry you can do some fancy tuning to pull timing on juice as well. If my goal was 700 rwhp I would go dry.

Dan made 740 or somthing yesterday on dry alone with 96% duty cycle and a non wavering rock solid AF of like 11.5 to 1. Now split that in two stages and you have a very reliabe setup.

That's great news! I have a Racetronix plug and play kit, along with a set of the FMS 42lb injectors. I just didn't know if that would be enough injector to get me to 700rwhp or not.

Its enough injector. I have seen my original 700 rwhp dry setup copied two more times so far locally with the exact same results. 700-760 rwhp all dry with rock solid AF.

I would suggest just getting the NX/FJO dual stage switch. Its only $199 and can handle a multitude of scenarios and inputs.
