Special thanks to Carmen at Vette Doctors for working his magic on tuning this badboy. Before the tune, the car was barely idling but now it's very smooth. It still bucks under 1500rpm, but that's just the nature of a cam like this size.
It looks like they addded some fuel and your car picked up ALOT of power! What was the final Air/fuel ratio? Timing? My heads will arrive Tuesday. basicaly the same unmilled setup but with a 228/228 .588/.588 lingenfelter grind and Ls6 intake. Ill be estatic with 440rwhp.... Then we will see how they like a little happy gas as well.

I am leaning towards these heads.

Then everyone will get to see how these heads do on a 224 cam, full bolt on, m6 car.

Brian....I sent you a pm...got a question

I drove the car for the first time today.... It defintely did NOT lose any low end and feels like it gained some power across the board. Hard to tell how much yet, and again the car defintely has some tune issues now, Id bet its running on the lean side with the new heads. Unfortunately it will be at least a week before Im able to get it to the dyno for a pretune pull....then a little tune work with EFILive and Ill dyno it again then spray a 125rwhp shot for the last pull.

Would they work ok on my LQ9 if I want to run pump gas?

Just got off the dyno, Torquer 2 and PRCs we made 412/370 with the cutout open. I am a little dissapointed, but we have a few bugs to work out of it so we could see a 420.Motor was pretty heat soaked too as we made 12 runs at least. I will post a graph up later today to show the weirdness of the torque curve, it dips pretty hard at 2500 and then pulls strong after that, starting the run at 2000 rpms.

No sure but this dyno (dynojet) seems to be either reading 20 hp lower than what everyone else gets per the same mods, or some people post up skewed numbers for advertising/ bragging,(no offense) not sure on that one but we spend 12 hours on my car with part throttle and WOT tuning to get it right starting with SD tuning. I will post graph later

Yeah, I'd be a little dissappointed with those numbers from that cam on a Dynojet. Look like Mustang numbers, huh?

I'm looking at the 233/239 .59x/.610 112+4 (among others), and expect better numbers, like 400+ rwtq. But i'll be adding a new intake along with the heads and cam. The last dyno I ran was 345 rwtq, and I'm hoping to generate 400+ rwtq. (All Mustang dyno numbers) Since that dyno run I've added 4.10 gears.
