750ish rwhp by SAM on a 427 inch ls6 headed all out (still wet sump, still ls6 heads though) race motor on race gas. Was through an efficient jericho manual transmission.

They better check there dyno for accuracy. The #'s they ran at the weight they were at would say they were not that high. Not bashing anyone just telling the truth.

My old 402 nitrous motor with marginal quality C5R heads and a less than spectacular custom intake made 751 flywheel.ARE did the heads and most of the intake.

Quite possibly, but this is just a sample of some numbers I entered in the calculator Richmond Gears has and it's pretty much right there. RPM doesn't really effect this calculators prediction of et's, only gear selection. I have no idea to the accuracy of this calculator though, nor do I know 100% that that is the actual raceweight of the car, but I know it was over 3000 by a good bit.

Vehicle Weight (in pounds): 3300
Vehicle Horsepower: 850
RPM through lights (finish line): 8800 (guess)
Tire Diameter (Hght.) in Inches: 29.5
1/4 Mile ET: 9.08
1/4 Mile Top End Speed: 148.95
Ideal 1/4 Mile Gear Ratio: 5.19
1/8 Mile ET: 5.78

P.S. Dropping the weight to 3200 makes a difference of two mph and less then 1 tenth, just checked it.

A 5.19 gear is a bit steep and I went 9.27 @ 148 with a 4.56 gear at 8000 rpm's with 570 rwhp. Cool little deal though.

The dyno is correct. The ET wasn't as low as the MPH showed it should be due to the clutch setup. It was their first time out with all of the new power and the clutch setup was a little off.

I made 585 rwhp which is close if not right at 700 flywheel.

Weighs 3451 and went 139.88 so far with a 6-spd.

If you're trying to say that the school has lied about something, you should just come out and say it. I don't like dancing. Nobody can dispute the car ran 154 MPH. There were a handfull of people out there to witness it, me being one of them.

I'm not saying they lied but I would hope if he had 180rwhp more than my car then it would go more than 1 tenth faster than I did. Especially in good air and good elevation. Who knows maybe my dyno is wrong.

Given more time with the clutch the car made enough HP to run 8.70's. The 9.19 was the cars first or second pass with the new engine.
