Question Most C5 Dyno Graphs have...

I have noticed that a lot of C5 dyno graphs have a weird curve to it in the beginning of the dyno run. It starts out kinda flat then really takes off. I have seen this on cars I've tuned, you can even hear a sound difference too.

Why is that?

I know what your talking about it flattens a bit at the beggining if you start at a low rpm. There is a fix to that.

Yep that's it, seen it a lot, even in most C5 Dyno posts on this board.

What's the "fix" if you don't mind sharing.

I always thought it was because of the way the drivetrain is on a vette? So whats this "top secret" fix????

I think the "fix" is the bottle. Be careful though, I hear it's addictive.

Here's a hint This is a blown Vette with no dip at the beggining. What do you change with a Vette when you put a blower on

Sorry, took me a year to figure it out.So I'll make it a quick learning experience for you guy's but you have to guess

Air/fuel. I also see you made it much richer at peak torque.

It has to be P/E Delay, my car never does anything close to that. You can hammer the pedal @ 1k and it will go right to the target A/F.

I set my PE rpm on lower, and have no issues even off the bottle, also. This is also a good dry tuning trick.

No,thats just tuning being screwy on the A/F.The blue graph is a NA run,red is blower.

It's not an A/F problem.The Vette's do something different

You change timing, And injectors. I believe that would be a must.
