Well everyone told me this was gonna be too small a cam to be worth it on an LS2, but I'm VERY happy with the results....
baseline pull was headers/exhaust/tune only. The final pull added the cam, springs, pushrods and a cold air kit.
cam specs: TSP "224XE" -- 224/224 .567/.567 113 LSA
The idle is noticeably not stock, but there's definitely no hellacious lope like an S-cam or anything. she pulls nicely and there's still good power all over the range. With the exception of having to be a little more liberal with the throttle from standing starts, it's pretty stock feeling.

I'm not quite sure, but I don't think it would be a KILLER gain over my 404. For small cam, the stock 243 heads probably handle the flow pretty well.

Goes by the name of Soliari on this board. In fact I've got the cam card. He was able to knock of .6 off his ET. The cam had great low end and mid range torque and nice top end just like this setup. Was a very fun car to drive.
Don't worry Al, I've already got a cam that I'm going to try out. See how the car responds. It isn't going to be close next time
