Default Cam only Ls1 440rwhp (Vengeance + Harris Tune)

Lets just say this cam kicks some ***.

Vengeance Vindicator Cam

Specs: 240/244 608/598 112

Vehicle Mods
2002 Ws6
SLP Lid (K&N)
SLP FFRA
Gran MAS
BW ported TB
ASP Pulley
SSauto 1 3/4 headers
QTP Ypipe
Flowmaster CB
4.10 gear (8.8 rear)
42lb inj

Please excuse the shitty graph. I will post a high res color copy tomorrow.

Only items added were the injectors and Harris Tune. I am floored to say the least.

All numbers SAE corrected. Uncorrected were 459/430. I have this graph as well. A/F was about 12.8 near peak. 42 inj saw about 68% duty cycle. Timing was 29. Idle 900rpm. Again, I will post a MUCH better graph tomorrow.

Yes, it hunts for idle when cold, about 20 seconds unassisted.

WOW! very impressive. I'd like to see what it would have been with a Fast 90/90, and then some good heads.

I will be getting some track times on St Patty's day at Cecil with video. Got a grudge race against my boys bolt-on 2.76 pulley cobra.

All the dyno #'s I've seen from there were higher than normal, but good #'s I guess. A cutout's worth 20-30rwhp over the flowmaster, and a fast 90/90's worth what 10rwhp? That would put you at 470-480rwhp cam only if you want to believe those #'s.

Cmon even you have to know those #'s are hard to believe, expecially through a flowmaster, one of my friends gained 25rwhp with a cutout and he only put down 375rwhp. Now if you go to the track and trap 122+ I'll shut my mouth.

Considering what the car trapped before the cam, you probably will be shutting up.

Actually open your eyes, and check out the other Vengeance cm only threads on some of the other forums, that haven't used this dyno. Numbers are not far off at all.

As for the flowmaster, this muffler has a delta series big block part number, not sure if that is the same or different then what Flowmaster intended to use on the kit.

Thirdly, post some examples of high numbers from Harris, and back up your claims.

I searched the dyno forum for Harris. 12 threads come up, only one (bolt-on A4 - 360rwhp) seemed off. All the others were spot on.

WOW!!! Very nice number! Do you need to flycut your piston with that cam ? Now It's time to put some heads and a 90/90 set up...

No flycutting here!

I refuse to pay for a 90/90. Going the ported Typhoon/90 route when their LS1/LS2 intake comes out with the bigger TB opening.

yeah that torque curve looks AWESOME. cant wait to see the ET's. you need some good tires though. you should be in the 1.5's with a 4.10 gear, t56, that kind of power. but it'll be tough to get it to hook with those tires. but judging by your old mods/ETs looks like your doin pretty good job of driving that car. Im very curious how that 8.8 rear will hold up for you. do you have any pics of that torque arm setup I can see? if so pm me some.

Thanks. If you search my name in the driveline forum my post should come right up with all kinds of pics of the torque arm mount. Its solid.

What kind of dyno is that on? That graph doesn't look like Winpep Dynojet.

Not sure. Maybe HSW can chime in if its not a dynojet.
