Default new ms4 CAM ONLYish numbers on a 98

well took the car down today to have thee dyno pulls done... and wow i like the numbers.....

stock with long tubes, tsp ory, corsa, lid free mods and a tune put down 336/348

and now

long tubes, tsp duals, lid, free mods, 42lb injectors, ported tb, ms4 cam and a tune

395.2/381.2

i was really hoping or over 400 but hell i have 126k on the motor... so i guess its all good... ohh and the clutch is going fast pedal stuck to the floor on the dyno after the pull.... but all in all i think these are really good numbers for a stock 98 longblock... now all i need are heads and an intake.... ohh i have spray BUT i need the clutch and want to do some rod bolts first hoping for like 5 something on spray......

You have got to be shitting me.

395 rwhp, cam only MS4 with an LS1 intake on a 98?

Seriously, that's just not natural. What dyno? Do you have a graph?

I have a 98 with an MS3. I only had the LS1 intake and stock pulley at first and then swapped to the LS6. Granted I have a big converter but when I added the LS6 intake and pulley I went from like 343 rwhp to 385!

the ms4 alone with all bolt ons + ls6 intake should be able to break 415 in my opinion and maybe more depending on the tuner...

wow...makes me feel good about my dyno numbers.

3" catback, slipping clutch, TB only opening 85% (mis-adjusted cable) and very poor tuning...382rwhp/375#

i'm pretty sure i'm over 400 now...

but that cam is much bigger than mine

god i need a GOOD tune and dyno

What a bitter sweet deal... Just got the ms4 cam into my car about a month ago and broke the clutch in, shortly after spun a rod bearing. Good numbers, can't wait to get my car back together now.

Just out of curiosity, but how many miles were on you car/engine when that happened?

Freakin' sick numbers for what you have!

Pick up an LS6 Intake Manifold and an Pulley and your going to see some serious numbers!

I'm impressed. Good work.
