Default 99 z28 stock internals with sts turbo

this 1 of the dyno runs for our shop car. stock internals, heads , valve springs & gaskets. qtp long tubes, custom exhaust to turbo, custom twin intercooler set up, 2 bar s.d. no maf. stock fuel pump with booster, spawn torque arm. 9 psi. this car runs 12.2 @ 121 spinning threw first & some in 2nd on small drag radials. this is a six speed car. now getting the strange s60 with 3:73, 26x11.50-16 et streets & cromoly drive shaft. should get me in the 11s.

3.73s will get you a little less boost in first gear with that M6. If it's a shop car and it's a rear mount why not use an auto? It would be much easier to go much quicker and faster.

I can't see the graph enough to make out A/F; it looks like 12.0:1 to me, and I wouldn't get near that lean on stock bottom end personally. What are the numbers it made? You don't say and I can't read them. Which turbo, the 60 or 67 mm?

i know the auto would be best but, i drive it all over hell & like the feul milage. iam not to worried about the consistency. i have the synergy 2 step now so we should make good boost launching in first. i was wondering about my gear selection. i have not recieved it yet. i may be able to chage the order.p.s. nice car

With that horsepower you should be rolling in the 10's pretty easy.

well i am trying not to get my hopes up! this is a stock internals engine with a stock cam! it makes gr8 power but, i dont know how it will react to such a load launching with a 2 step & traction. i am only gonna launch around 3750 under boost till i can get another engine built. i will be content with a mid 11 pass! even running low 12s (no traction) the trailer queens are hatting big time! thanx teen phenom ! nice car sounds like its strong! is you bottom end still stock?

Uh it was 3.89 gears and I had the stock tranny with a Spec 3+ clutch and I launched at about 6000-6500 RPMs on the kit.

Nope that was the factory aluminum driveshaft. I put a chromoly steel driveshaft in it right before I sold the car.

i'm thinking about the STS kit, but from pics, it looks like you have to remove your driver side sfc...?

no i slightly modified the sub frame connectors(bmr) so they fit tight up against the body wich looks better any way! i can make you a sweet deal on the sts kits. i can send more pics of my car to so you can see it better. i also made a diffent charge pipe to go along the rocker panal for optimum ground clearance.
