Default '03 Z06 F11-112 Results

I'd like to share my results of my cam swap from this past weekend.

Cam details: 228/230 .571/.595 112+4

Prior to the cam swap I had 1-3/4" Dynatech Longtubes, highflow cats, and Vararam intake.

Also installed an ASP Underdrive and 160°F thermostat.

The graph shows my car tuned with longtubes and vararam only vs. the tuned F11.

Let me know what ya'll think.

27 rwhp and 18 rwtq is a solid gain when you already are starting with a healthy cam. Nice gains across the board with no apparent downsides.

Congrats! I've always liked the FM11 due to it's valve events that make a nice broad powerband. One of the only cams I would change my TR224 for.

Thanks guys for the responses. I installed this cam dot to dot and didn't degree it. Do you think I left any power on the table because of this? Or does it look about right?

Good results, but I think you would be happier with a set of LG Pro longtube headers and and offroad X-pipe (no cats). Would've love to see what you would've done with one of LG's cams like the g5x2. I think it would be similar but more power everywhere. Not much bigger then the cam you have now, just more power. If you ever change your headers try the LG Pro longtube headers. Made my car feel like night and day.

The G5X2 is about 10 degrees bigger on the exhaust end. I'd say that's a pretty big difference. The headers might have made more power but it probably wouldn't be enough to justify the price.

You could do some gears. A set of 3.73s or 3.90s will really a difference in how that thing feels.
