Electric WP.

+ TFS 225. The TFS have been doing well on the 346.

My guess.

If you went with enough compression I'm sure 550+ is going to be a piece of cake.

Only reason I didn't give 580+ was Fast90 intake, though there have been some setups that do make it IE: 447 cubic inches.

This a 416.

The TFS heads have been making notably more power and TQ on the 346 - IE: vengence cracking 500rwhp, and more impressive over 450rwtq out of 346 cubic inch. Used to be a 383 to get that rwtq range... Have to say Ed C has also made these numbers too, but still not common.

There was a combo on here that mad 560rwhp with a ported LS6 head, why I gave it over this, since the TFS225 + electric WP + vengence racing... 580rwhp is possible. Think should be over 550rwhp FOR SURE, due to vengence being on the project.

It has Cats though... and a Y-Pipe.

True duals and no Cats with TFS 235s and I'd bet 575.

Cats + Y + 225s = 540.

530 to 560rwhp with insane torque thru the ENTIRE rpm range is my bet ... The choke point in this combo is the intake/exhaust... 346s can survive off of the FAST and a Y pipe... It takes more air to feed a stroker to make the BIG peak #s....

Glad to see it is running Mike!!! We are looking forward to some good results. Give me a call before you put that thing on the dyno!!!

Hhhmmmm.......

My Vengeance 416" went 538/500 w/no street miles on a heavy *** driveline(TH400/ss3600, steel DS, 12 bolt/4.10's on a 28" slick).

I think you'll do better w/a slightly bigger stick(5-8 rwhp?), M6/light weight clutch(20+ rwhp?), and a 3.73 gear(8+ rwhp?)....

I know you can't stack/add individual components for a rwhp number, but given what I've seen these guys do........

I'm gonna say 570/527ish +/- NA on this build-

Good luck!

alright guys i got some numbers!! found out the hard way you cant really expect maximum power out of a stroker w/ a y pipe!!
496rwhp
452 ft ilbs torque
again thats through cats and a 3 inch y pipe
the crazy thing is we removed and ran open headers (tuned for full exhaust) and picked up 56rwhp and 50 ft ilbs torque!!! and that was without tuning as well!!
so its obvious i need true duals and that 520+rwhp wont be to hard to hit.
i never realized that the y would choke me up that much.

however, the car had 430 torque at 3k rpm and its a blast on the streets

i will get dyno graph up soon as i left it at the shop!!
again, i wanna thank mike and ron at vengeance for building me a killer street setup!! and for offering all the help i needed and then some for this project!!!!!

WOW thats a lot of power to be lost through the exhaust.
Its acturally quite funny.
Do you have a Y pipe or T pipe? is it a hooker Y?

its a 3 inch y pipe. i dont wanna name the brand. im not tryin to slam the company. but i know they work well w/ heads and cam cars. but honestly w/ a stroker its just not enough.

Weird. I had a 402 camaro on the dyno and with a SLP "y" pipe it make 502 through a magnaflow exhaust. We opened the cutouts which he had cut the Y pipe and added dual 3" cutouts in the straight part right after the header and picked up right at 20 HP. A impressive gain still.
I don't think you would hurt the rep of a company naming a name. The one I think is garbage is the hooker. It is more of a "T" then a "Y"
Picking up that much power makes me

Congrats on the #s Mike!!!! 540/500 opened up isnt too shabby .... I honestly didnt expect to see that much of a gain either.. I guess the exhaust is a lil more restrictive than we thought it was.... Nothing like cats/Ypipe/restrictive catback to ruin your day!!

Looking forward to you getting your duals and coming down for a final tune at our place... Im QUITE confident we can get 550rwhp outta your lil street motor
