Dyno prediction threads are DUMB
Why do people feel the need to make thread to predict there dyno numbers. This section is for results and comparisons. Until you get you **** dynoed don't come in here and make a post about predicting numbers it is DUMB.

Alot of people are excited and want #'s before they get there
I will never predict #'s because most people never dyno'd there car before. I will tell you though that alot of people predict #'s wayyyy too high, then the owner is mad when there #'s are lower. I run a dyno and see it all the time.

People just wanna hear that their H/C/I 346 should make 550rwhp. Then they can go tell alllllll of their buddies how bad *** their car "should" be. This way they don't even have to spend the time/money to even hit the dyno, and you know their not gonna worry about the track because it's too far away.
Every single one of us has a HP/TQ goal. It's how you start your build. Don't act clueless and start your retarded *** threads so you can gloat about how much power you should make.

Oh yeah, I took mine to the track plenty of times, just trying to see a ballpark number of what to expect if I were to dyno.

why not post up a post like:
1) if i hit the track at 0DA, what would i run?
2) same as above but with weight reduction?
3) same as above but i want to dyno with weight reduction
4) same as above but i want a much higher post count, then predict my dyno AND ET please....
dynos are cheap and available everywhere. just go dyno it. i have about 75 pulls on my TA. i never had to ask what others think it would make. besides, dynojets are only a diagnostic tool. not a measure of one's ****.
the only reason to make a post asking what others think is when one actually puts their car on teh dyno and wants a comparison and discussion of the combo. otherwise, the numbers mean nothing more than a tech2 or other diagnostic readout. i might as well post my MAF frequency and measure how many grams/second i am getting of airflow.
cabich - i made that reply to give some creditability for fellas like you that dont know crazykid has both experience building fast and powerful cars as well as racing and dynoing them. in real life, not the internet.

HAHA..great thread! I know some dont like it...but predictions really are worthless. Just too many variables that most really arent even aware of.
Sometimes I feel people want a rosy prediction instead of REALLY finding out what the car makes. It sucks to find out your combo isnt as great as you expected. But even an actual dyno number is not the end all indicator of real world PERFORMANCE.

While I don't really like prediction threads, espeacially since so many are almost the same combo, this thread is worse. I could give to shakes of a **** stick if this kid works on LS1's all day long, it dosen't mean anything to me. I've seen kids in these shops that could barley tie their shoes, much less do quality work. This is why I do my own. This thread could have been posted in a much more civil manner than telling people their dumb and to STFU. It just shows the immaturity of the OP in my eyes.

Regardless, everybody is a master mechanic on here. I'm glad he doesnt gloat about himself then. I could take everyone's opinion on here on what my car would make and say thats how much power I have. I dont though, I take it to the track. Yes, predictions are pretty worthless, but I consider Dyno #'s a bonus. Dyno's are pretty cheap($75+/hr) Ive been on a dyno twice in my 99 Z28 but stick to my novice street tuning w/ HP Tuners. Never been on one in my Formula. Don't plan on it until I a cam(maybe heads on it.) Trust me man, Im not being a dick or a kid, just giving ya'll something to write about!!
