I felt quite a bite of power difference. Alot of people are gonna say dont go to the iron block because of weight. Mine weighed about 70lbs more, but the extra cubes definately made up for the weight. I dont have any dyno numbers though.

the car weighs ~3300 with me in it. I don't really mind the extra weight I'll just take more weight out. I can get a complete motor for 350.00 so that's why I'm going to do it.

The larger bore is going to affect your heads since they are most likely designed for a 346 bore. It may be better, may not. Should un-shroud them which is good, but the chamber will not match right which may not be good. You will get more compression too. Also may want to check PTV clearance.

I went from a 346 LS1 long block to a 364 LQ4 long block, although I did not do a dyno before and after, but I did do a track pass before and after. The conditions were very similar and at a high elevation (local) track. The results were very close, but the LQ4 trapped 1 MPH higher then the LS1 on average (range was between .8 MPH to 1.3 MPH more for the LQ4). I did not do any mods in between the engine swap, nor were the 317 heads re-worked. Having said that, the LQ4 is worth about 10-15 rwhp more then an LS1 ... both after street tuning.

Im going to slap my AFR 205's On it. Get a Custom Cam For it also From PatrickG. I think Im going to get the head chambers opened up to a 4.00" Bore And gave them milled to 58cc instead of What they are now 59cc. I want to try and hit 500RWHP. I want to have a solid 10sec car. It's a solid 11 sec car right now. I want a solid 10 sec car though.

If this is an LQ4 and not LQ9 look at the pistons. This can actually lower your compression and hurt you. You will either want to A) Shave the heads to bring up the compression. B) Change the pistons.
I also know that if it is 99 or older the cranks are a little different and heard of them to be weak.
