Default Vindicator/TrickFlow/TNT 75 shot

I always get questions about how the Vindicator responds to nitrous... Well yesterday one of our heads/cam customers came in with a TNT kit on his car for tuning. His combo originally made 492/437 with a 10 bolt 3:42 combo... We added a Strange 12 bolt w/ 4:10s and a chromoly steel driveshaft and his new #s are on the print out below...

Modifications Include:

TrickFlow 215cc Cylinder Heads (61cc)
Vindicator Camshaft
FAST 90 Ported by Vengeance
NW 90mm TB
MTI Clear Lid
Stock Maf descreened
ASP Pulley
Kooks Longtubes w/catted Y pipe
Cutout
Textralia OZ700 clutch/02 slave
36lb Injectors/RaceTronix Intank Pump
GM Head Gaskets/Bolts
TNT 75 Shot (Power Ring)
17x9 Chrome ZR1 Wheels w/315 Nittos

Timing is 27*
Air Fuel on Motor is 12.8
AirFuel on the 75 shot is 11.4

Graph is posted over speed. We lost tach signal so RPM has gaps in it. SAE/Smoothing 3

Excellent gain on a small shot! You could run a long time on a 10 lb. bottle at that jetting. Well done.

They are USALLY fairly close in rwhp.... A 75 shot will give you a true 75 at the wheels.. I do love the torque a TNT kit produces though

Thanx guys!!!! BTW, this is on 975 PSI

Great numbers very nice the owner must be very happy.

I really thought The rearend and Driveshaft will eat alot of power but I rather have strong rear with 20rwhp less than BROKEN 10bolt with 20rwhp more.

Agian congrats.

This is exactly the thread I needed to read. I am going to be running the Vindicator Cam with the TFS 215 Heads milled to 58 CC & a 150 Dry Shot.

So I suspect on motor I should do 430 RWHP unlocked & 560 on the 150 Dry shot.

Which will eat more HP

8.8 Rearend
or
12 Bolt

The only difference is good luck mounting an 8.8 with a torque arm.

Just have to mount a bracket on the housing for the torque arm. Mine works perfectly
