Dyno'ed the SS
My setup is a factory stock LQ4 long block with only Hooker LTs, ORY, and Catback. It does have a B&M 3000 converter and 3.73 gears out back.
This dyno measures actual rear axle torque, something a dynojet has to calculate.

Too bad pedalling didn't help, like previously.
I had a feeling it was good, as the driver's compartment got filled with tire smoke.

But why does it say flywheel hp?
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I took advantage of a private track rental at one of our better tracks out here, Famoso Raceway (elevation = 600'). This was a good day to race as the DA was around 2000'. Although I ran my SS as driven on the street: Riken 275/40/17 street tires and chrome SS 10-spoke wheels, front sway bar installed, no track tricks. I was able to attain the numbers in my sig: 12.830 @ 107.25 mph on a 1.826 60' with a DA of 2193'. My race weight was 3720lbs (car weighed 3460lbs with LS1, +60lbs for the LQ4, +200lbs for myself = 3720lbs). Best 60' was a 1.818 with a 107.60 mph on a previous run (12.839). Not too shabby for $150 street tires.
