I went down to visit Ed Hutchings on Friday (Automotive Technologies, Chesapeake, Va) to get him to look at my 402/L92 combo.
I was not making the power that everyone else seemed to be making. After a cam change and a second tune I was at 461/416. Not bad for a 346, but I have a 402.![Embarassed](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_emb.gif)
Ed put it on the dyno and after he worked his majic we ended up getting another couple of horses on the pavement. I now have 485/444. The car is great to drive and feels smoother.![Nod](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_nod.gif)
If you have a problem child or just need someone who is very good in Northern Va., you won't go wrong with Ed.

Sometimes different cars want different stuff. You cant plug in a canned tune into everything and expect it to work. Or at least work right.
Theres no secret **** going on there. We made those gains in less than 2 hours. 8 pulls with a little bit of cool down time. We made some checks, looked over the tune, talked about how shitty it was, made some changes that I knew would pick up a chunk, and made 16 plus hp on our first pull with the new tune.
