Yeah I was just about to purchase those heads, but found a deal for almost the same price on some TEA ported AFR heads. Should hopefully do the job on my 408. Just waiting for some more $$$ to finish up everything else.

Don't you hate those automatic transmissions sucking up our power, that is very close to what mine makes with a similar set up... Congrats!

Mine had AFR 205s on it but was far from optimized 456/445. I switched those out for some TFS 235s, ported FAST, EWP, etc... improved to 500/472. I think the 205s could have been optimized for the set up but probably needed a different cam, the ported intake, EWP.

I don't know the rest of that set up. It may be listed somewhere in the thread. What cam are you running? Your intake is probably holding you back a little. My car is 4000 with me in it. How did you get yours down to 3775# with you? Mine stock was 3520# without me. Now with iron block, moser, assorted suspension parts. Mine ran 11.70s @120 without using first gear (need some slicks). What was your trap speed?

Default cam ....weight & more

comp part #54-000-11.......
int ext
gross lft .598 .608
dur @ 50% .234 / .240 lobe sep .112
trap speed=115 on micky 26/315's

last time weighed was 3945 w/me n it.I just put billet specialities and skinnys on the car also removed the front sway bar and lost 10 lbs. myself all of that should be good for about 125 lbs.....I figgure its around 3800 now.I went to a 27 x 15 hoosier qtp....1 -1.5 taller than the mickys .The last time i went too the track I had them on the back but didn't have the skinnys on the front.I ran 11.82 @ 119.5.....just couldn't get it to 60 ft... 1.75-1.85...the car would always 60 ft 1.60-1.65 with the mickys. This is why I took the sway bar off ,then put the skinnys on the front also added drag shocks too the rear. When I finished these mods I took it down the road to try it out.It hooked way better....lol ...good enough to tear up the 4l60 E.So thats where I am @ now ...broke trany but going back w/a built glide and coverter to match.....I hope maybe 11.3's next time out

You can probably get 11.3 or better once you get the 60 down. My 60s were in the 1.8 range on 17x9.5 nitto drag radials. I am sure w/ some slicks (ETs or QTPs) I could get that down to 1.5 or 1.6

man its all in the details id look into larger intake and optimized cam before taken the 205s off. got box stock minus milled to 59ccs 205s on mine and its a hand full. i was after TQ and i tell you i got plenty. it runs 11.30s all day at 3900 lbs. that was no weight reduction full exhaust ice cold A/C heavy *** 17 like get off work drive to the track put helmet on pull some air out the rears and race. i have dropped 4-500 lbs went bigs littles QA1s but the clutch is shot i know it will do 10s Na but the 100 shot ripped the clutch up on my 10.77 pass slowed down from the 75 shot on the top end as clutch couldnt hold it
