Default LS2 GTO w/ TrickFlow 225cc Cylinder Heads & VRX5 Camshaft

We just finished this one up this afternoon. This lil LS2 really responded well to the modifications.

TrickFlow 225cc Cylinder Heads (Milled to 61cc)
Vengeance Racing VRX5 Camshaft (236/238 .605/.596 113+2)
Kooks 1 7/8 Longtubes/no cats
Corsa Catback
FAST 90mm Ported by Vengeance
Ported LS2 TB
Usual bolt ons....

We are used to seeing some big horsepower #s with these combos, but I love the torque this package produced with the LS2...

Enjoy

Most guys are looking at the RPM point where the torque finally crosses above the 400 RWTQ mark, and this one starts out above 400 RWTQ at 3500, that is a nice torque curve.

No flycutting required. This is out VRX5 camshaft. With the TFS heads there is PLENTY of room for PV

I have tuned a VRX5 in a 2000 Z Stock Converter 3.23 gears. Awesome cam. No bucking or surging either. Very drivable cam
