A friend of mine runs a custom Cartek grind in his 403 L92 build. Maybe they've come up with something better by now.

Might as well find someone who has a good running cyl head/intake similiar to yours and work from there.

have the heads off? I have some ideas for a cam, but I think you could shim the springs more then you had them previously. Where did the install height end up on the intake?

Might that be me? The cam spec'ed out at 235/240 115.5 with the lift about .600.

I made 485/445 and the car drives nice. Thanks Ed!!! I'm sure cam designs have progressed in the past year for the L92 heads.

Jeff you think I should shim them more? its already 420lbs closed, They are at 1.8" installed height. i dont want to get coil bind. morrels are soaking in oil. I might mess with it tomorrow, undecided. damn thoes intake valves are big. i forgot what they looked like.

Still looking... that should tell you something

Why do you think the valves are sucha pain to control and hardly anyone has the results you should see out of 350 cfm heads? That engine should be capable of making 560+

Hey Bob,

Glad to hear the car is running great. I've got a couple more things in the works.

From what I have found my 236/248 makes more power than the 236/236 I had by around 20rwhp.

I would look into this cam if I were you.

my L92 headed 408 made 47Xrwhp and over 500 torque thru a TH400, 4k stall, and 9 inch rear end.

I dont know Rick, Ive seen 18 as a low and as much as 70-80 hp diff from this one and dynojet (and other mustang dynoes)

I dont care really, I know what xxx hp at xx weight equals on this dyno, never had anything else come close to repeatability.
