Default New Numbers, Baby Cam Tuned

The car is an FIrebird Trans Am WS6 2001 A4.
Modifications:
-ported stock TB
-slp cold air intake,**NO MAF**
-flowtech LT 1 3/4 headers, without cats
-custom 2.5" Y
-160 degree thermos...
-single valve springs from compcam
-compcam XR 265HR (212/218 .522/.529 LSA 114)
-stock heads just a bit ported
-tuned with Efilive, the AFR was tuned at 12.4-12.5

Dyno Numbers: temp at dyno was 95F
Max Power 352.81rwhp aprox at 5,750rpm
Max torque 355.47 aprox at 5,000rpm

The car feel very strong, when it throws 2nd gear it wants to eat the street.
The transmision was set to throw 2nd at 6,100rpm (aprox 50mph), and 3rd at 6,400rpm (aprox 95mphs), you go with 3rd down to +140 and it brings it down fast. It was set that at the end of each gear, it has at least +330rwhp.At 6100rpm it has aprox +340rwhp and 310 torq, at 6400rpm it has aprox 330rwhp and 380torq. That car feels greatt, excellent momentum, when it changes gear you never feel like if it hold a bit, it just keep going with a lot of power.

Any coments????

Now i am thinking to get an tr224 114 cam, what you think???

My goal is to have a DD car, dont want hesitation, neither to have a ar that sounds like a beast. Just a silent car that eats some street cars.
I couldnt post scan the graph but soon will post it.

Will apreciate your coments.

Does the car have the stock stall? Get a 3k stall converter and it will wake the car up big time. It was the biggest bang for the buck mod beside nitrous that I have ever done to my car.

the #'s sound great but any stall you put in will eat up RWHP but it will run faster! I say 3600-4400 but get some ET #'s first the way it sit's! good luck!

Well he wants a DD so those stall sizes I think would be too much. You will lose some rwhp but you car will feel like a beast. I would say get a around a 2800 to 3K stall for a DD you may decide later to move up though. I had a Vig 3200 and now I have a Vig 3600 but Vigs are on the upper end as far as price my but you also want to buy you can get pretty nice stalls at a cheaper price. I would look around and see what best suits your needs. Do some research before you buy one.

No thanks, but i am only interest in cam, right now i am not looking for head upgrade. And wanted to hear what people think about changing the cam for a tr224 114LSA.
Because right now i need new O2 sensors, a wideband and was thinking about a stall and an pulley.

I have a MTI X1 cam only car with a Vig 3600 converter and it's pretty quick. I think you'll be happy with a 3K converter and a TR224. Just for the hell of it, check out the TR230/224.

Just to know. What difference will i feel if a change the stall in a DD car and what would be also the difference when i step on the gas????

And will i gain something with a SLP MAF 85mm if i install it and then tune the car??? My question i sbecause i have one but i read some threds that it wasnt good to tune a car with an aftermarket MAF, i read that is best to go with the stock MAF, what you think about that???? And what can i gain????

You will have to drive it a little to get used to it. Make sure that you tune your tranny for the stall like your TM, shift points, and firmness. When I first got mine I thought I had made a mistake because it felt like my tranny was slipping but once I got used to it I never looked back. The car will blisted your street tires when you put your foot to the floor. If you put some sticky tire on it and floor it it will slam you back in your seat. You will definitely will like it.

Becarefull though, once you start modding and the power goes up be ready to beef up the tranny to handle it all.

Should i ask the dyno guy to get the AFR higher, like to 12.8-13.1, because he set it at 12.3-12.4 but he never tried to go a bit higher because he told me that in the street i will go up a bit. But i have seen that most people here set the AFR between 12.9-13.1 at the dyno. What you think i should do and how much can i gain setting up the AFR a bit higher?????? It is true that in the street because of the pressure it goes up???, i cant check it becaus ei dont have a wideband on the car.
