I did. The very 1st pull on the dyno I made 398rwhp. I only picked up 5whp(403wrhp) with the tune,. I did need bigger injectors though. After some miles on it and I found some bigger injectors I went back and retuned and it made 407rwhp.

I started out with stock 99 injectors. Then put ford blue top injectors in it. They were running over 100% duty cycle after more changes. I now have 42# in it running @ 70-80% duty cycle.

Bringing this thread back... I am going to be getting my car tuned as soon as my LT's and y pipe come in. It has a lid and a GMMG catback as it sits now. The previous owner said he had the heads ported and polished when the crate motor went in. Still on the stock tune at the moment. Seeing you guys putting down such good numbers has me pretty optimistic!

Bringing this thread back from the dead...I'm the OP anyway, so I can do that, right ![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
I did eventually get back to the dyno after I added the pulley/thermostat/CAI as I mentioned in the original post and I actually was dead on with my guess. I now put down 385 RWHP. That last 15 RWHP to get me over the 400 RWHP has been bugging me a lot lately, so I've decided to see if I can get there without going through the trouble of a cam swap. Now that the FAST 92mm has been re-released, I just picked one up as well as a Nick Williams 92MM throttle body. I'm not sure that's going to be enough to get me to 400... I started thinking about maybe roller rockers. I know the stock 1.7's won't help much, but has anyone tried the 1.8's on an otherwise stock internal LS6? What kind of results did that net?

Actually, after my FAST 92mm sitting in the garage for a year and a half, I finally put it on a couple of weeks ago and went to Vengeance for a re-tune today. The Fast 92 got me the 15 RWHP I was looking for. Final numbers: 400.1 RWHP and 389.3 RWTQ on my stock internals LS6 longblock that now has about 10K miles on it since I did the swap 10 yrs. ago...Oh, and I recently added a new Monster Stage II clutch WITHOUT the ligther flywheel, and it turns out the flywheel is actually heavier than the stock LS6 flywheel, so that may be eating a little power too...
Here's a list of my mods to my LS6:
-Hooker Shorty Headers (w/stock cats)
-FAST 92mm Intake
-Nick Williams 92mm Throttle Body
-Taylor Ignition Wires
-Whisper Lid
-K&N Air Filter
-JET Ported MAF Ends
-SLP 2OTL Exhaust
-SLP Cold Air Induction
-180 Degree Thermostat
-Vengeance Racing-PCM Dynotune
-Powerbond Underdrive Crank Pulley

That’s awesome! I recall reading your swap web page before I committed to my LS6 crate engine a number of years ago. Thanks for taking the time to put that together. I have over 100K miles on my replaced ls6 motor (had 105k on original ls1 before it started drinking oil, losing compression) and this motor held its oil far better than my LS1 ever did. Here is my progression.
LS6
500mi dyno M6 stock exhaust manifolds 343rwhp on dynojet (no 1/4 times on this setup)
40K miles latter above plus cateless pacesetter LT+dyno tune it did 369rwhp (best 12.8@112 in AZ)
100K (212K on chassis) miles now with Ai Heads/Cam 226cc.243 and 226/234 cam +S60/4.11s +dyno tune it put down 424rwhp on dynojet. (one run 12.5@117 on 2.1 60ft. in AZ)
I have a FAST102 with 92mm throttle body and spacer on deck for the last mod for it (famous last words)
Glad to see you still rolling in that bad boy! 400wheel with cats and shorty headers is pretty sweet.

BEFORE my FAST 92, I was putting down 385.9 RWHP and my best 1/4 run was a 12.6 @ 112 but that was with a slipping clutch and a T56 that didn't always like to go into 3rd grear at high RPM's. I took my car to Tick Peformance this past spring and had a their Stage II T56 rebuild done as well as their Adj. Master Cylinder and a Monster Stage II clutch. I'm hoping to head back to the track in the fall or next spring and knock at least a couple more tenths off!

I was hoping to read a posting from someone who had a full bolt-on LS6 with AI 226cc ported stock heads. I wonder if I had the same configuration as the bandirector but with ARH if I too could possibly see 400 rwhp, but through an A4 trans?? Ouch, $1200 for a new FAST 92 is painful for only a 15 rwhp increase...

I went with harland sharp rocker. That graph is a before and after on the rockers. It put down 413 before and 417 after. But look at the power it gained under the curve......right where you want it. It got to 400whp 300rpm sooner. Good stuff imo

I am finally getting around to post some numbers. I had the car dyno tuned a little while ago and was a little let down by the numbers. It had the mods in my sig except for the 9 inch. The first pull untuned it made 350/347 and after the tune it made 373/375. My tuner told me before that this dyno hurts alot of feelings. It runs much stronger and I understand that a dyno is just a tool... I still would have liked to see some strong numbers though
When it does better than expected the tuner pats himself on the back.
Mine makes 385/380 and outruns way more cars than it should...
all these have been outrun by me from a roll or dig.
5th gen stock Camaro
New 5.0 with a few mods.
LS2-LS3 Stock C6 Vette.
C5 Vette
C5 Zo6 stock with a crap driver.

I have heard tuners say their dyno's read low as well. How ever I have used this tuner a few times and he has never said it until he recently switched to his current dyno. I really want to run it down the track but I am hesitant until I put in a correct length driveshaft.

brining it back. this tread has some awesome info. I just bought a 01 z28 that looks to have an ls6 in it. I would love to see 400whp without a cam swap. I want to daily drive it.
