My buddy went 12.5 @ 113 mph with a similar setup on drag radials in his 2000 M6 Vette.

Actually, your 10 bolt is on BORROWED time. Not bought time.

My guess is you'll run a 10.5 and be the fastest and coolest kid in all the land!!! The entire parking lot of Gellert Starbucks will tremble at the sound of your name.

i was about to say bench racing is weak, but then i noticed that ls1tech actually has a separate forum for this sort of nonsense.

i say 12s when you roll across the line with major whining/grinding coming from your 10bolt! have trailer ready.

You need gears and drag radials. No question. Those two will put you low 12s high 11s if you can drive well, not to mention picking up about 3-5mph.

i agree, whats with the 4" exhaust?

i wouldnt worry about the rear end to much, some guys have great luck and have been in the 10's with them for a while, others break them with >350hp and 1 launch.
unless you can afford a 9" or 12 bolt then there is not use worrying about it. ive even seen a few guys upgrade and then break a 12bolt on the same car. likely? not at all, but there isnt a set point where the 10bolt breaks.

Its a copy of Patric G's Exhaust and the same Y pipe that QTP uses. So im pretty sure i am not lossing power. I had true duals before and now switched to this set up and it is great. Sounds pretty bad *** to when the cut out is open.

So if you were a 383 or a 408 LSX or bigger would you have to go to 6" exhaust or would 5" be ok?

Yeah, I think it was Mufflex that made a 4" cat back for years. I've seen stockish LT1's pick up good power with it.

x2. If you don't like it, . It was created so people like you don't have to see these threads in the results forums and so that members can get an idea of how their cars might perform in various categories if they're curious but don't necessarily have the money or means to make it happen.
