Who here has raced a LS7 vette with their LS1?
And who actually won? I did a search on this and couldn't find any mention of real world results, I'm wondering around what rwhp the f body starts to stand a chance. I'm going to be up against one in about a month and I'm curious if I'll be able to hold my ground...heres the mods that might actually matter on my car in absolutely no specific order.
Vortech V-9 SC
Vortech PowerCooler
Hooker LTs
Borla CB
Eibach Pro kit
Revalved Bilstiens
Lakewood LCAs
Lakewood Panhard
3.73s
LS7 Clutch
LS7 Flywheel
Built T56
Dynoed 475/455 (Claimed by previous owner havent verified yet...)
Curious to hear from those who have actually gone up against one (maybe with similar mods or #s) I know they are absolute beasts I'm honestly I'm not expecting to win but I don't want to get my *** handed to me. And before anyone says it, I know "I should just wait to find out" and "Bench racing is stupid..." but I'm just curious.

I raced one at an 1/8mile track and beat him by about half a car and 1mph trap. That was on a 75 shot, I put down 480/465 with it. We both had similar traction. Here's the link, it was in Evanston and the DA that day was 9900'!

I'd like to get a blower cam, but I'm afraid if I'm putting down to much more horsepower the stock internals are going to begin to fail, and I don't feel like spending a lot of money in the car...
And that avatar, its blowing my mind now, I can't tell...

Get a smaller pulley and tune for more psi. get her up to 8 or so psi, You could always change pullies and detune it for reliability. But a blower cam and new springs would probably be nice too!

Smallest pulley is already on there as far as I know. I'm pretty sure It's running at a bit more than 6psi especially in this cold weather, but it's hard as hell to watch the boost gauge with my foot down. I'd love to do a blower cam swap but I'm not sure I have the $$$ right now.
