Default man the new 370z...

finaly nissan got it right. 13.4@104 nissan 370Z will def be a stout car to run against on the streets now. ive always liked the look of them wish they wasnt in the mid upper 30k region though

kinda glad im not stock anymore. best i could muster when i was stock was 13.5@105

and thats Edmunds 13.4@104 time so i gotta assume they might can run quicker.

Its definately a cool looking car. I was waiting to see what they were gonna do with it cause I love my Z now. But if Nissan F'ed it up I was gonna just keep it. But they did a real good job and finally gave it numbers it needed. There's some great videos out on it already.

You think 13.4 at 104 is "stout"?

The newer 350's ran that w/ a good driver...the 370's should be close to a 12 second car stock...more power less weight.

What? I have never seen a 350Z go quicker than a 14.0 stock.

Seen a lot of bad drivers then... every 6spd 350Z since they've been made has been capable of running in the 13s. The '05-'06 cars were mid 13s cars with a good driver, and the '07+ cars were running low 13s in the right conditions. So there's no reason why somebody can't maybe squeak out a 12.XX in this new 370Z.

That 370Z should be a 12 sec car out the box. I have a friend with a stock '07 350Z 6-speed that has run a 13.1 at 105 stock at Carolina Dragway. It trapped as high as 107 down at Cecil, Ga. He goes by "VeeTec" on all the car forums. The average driver will get mid 13's out of them.

The new Z should be a beast.

The car is stout...Theres a differance in stout and fast...If a stock low 13 second car isnt stout then im not sure what is. Guess Ls1's werent stout either.

It's more than "quick for a ricer"... it should be as fast as LS1 F-bodies/Vettes.

ive raced two G37's already from a roll and it was like they were standing still. pretty sure there like the same thing as the 370z

as far as modded 350z's from what ive seen they are extremely unimpressive

I took out a Nismo 350 that was modded pretty well, and my car was stock.
They look awesome though.

i think they are for their age at least. I mean we are dealing with a 13 year old engine. But i guess "stout" is in the eye of the beholder so i see things different then you and ts6. I bet that car will be amazing in the turns though.
