Oh what a pissing match. The 03/04 Cobra is a nice car and very Mod friendly. I wouldnt mind owning one, but the damn front drivers seat does not go back far enough for me. There biggest down fall is the people that drive them. A bunch of hair gel wearing fairies, bumping there dance music and talking about their rims and such.

there is one... and you are comaring your car that is built, with a supercharger and blah blah blah blah.. to a car that has a cam, exhaust, intake, gears... thats not a very good comparison..

why not compare a H/C ls1? that much more fair since most trap very close to 125..

hell, for that matter.. why not do FI to FI... how many cam only ls1s spraying do you know that dont trap well over 125? i dont know of very many... how many H/C ls1s spraying that dont trap well over 130?

i like most of you mustang guys, but what kind of statement is that?

i will take my H/C ls1 and not so kindly show you my tail lights, is that relevant to anything in this thread? no..

i head/cam set up i can agree with. if i had a dedicated suspension retarded gears and blah blah blah you can run 10's with a pulley only cobra as well. im not overly bias i like gm cars and think that lsx is a great platform. its just not for me. my statement was based around the ignorant people that think there average cam only ls1 will run with a pullied cobra.

i totally agree, a normal cam only setup, or a weak H/C setup will be beat almost always by a pullied cobra... a well built H/C setup or a serious cam only car can very well beat a pullied cobra..

in all, i agree with you! just said it a little wrong the first post..

im not up for that.. just like the guys on the ls1tech fastest cam only faster H/C cars.... just because they ran that time at their track doesnt mean they will everywhere..

the #1 guy could get beat at the same track same day by the #15 guy...

it would be a sad cam only ls1 to get beat by a bolt on mach.. they are equal from the factory with the edge to the ls1... add full bolt ons to both the ls1 has more advantage because of displacement.. add a cam, that is no question.

are his times at his track beter than 90% of cam only ls1s? possibly? will he beat 90% of cam only ls1s? i HIGHLY doubt it..

that mach 1 is a gutted race car and runs 11 teens with 320 rwhp. which is more than enough to take out MOST cam only cars.

yea. when i say gutted i mean gutted. guy cut the insides of the doors out. i wouldnt want anything to do with a car like that but it is kinda impressive.

nah no vids. he used to post on svtp and mach1 registry all the time might be some videos there. the guys from new hampshire and lives about a mile away from NED so basicly any time i have been to the track hes been there running that car. i have talked to him a few times hes a bit of an odd duck.
