Default A little confused

Ok I finally got out to the track last night up here at bandimere in colorado,

Stock down to filter, stock clutch at 90k on the odometer. Street tires aired down.

Best run was

R/T .048
60' 2.090
330' 6.122
1/8 9.314
MPH 77.00
1000' 12.035
1/4 14.302
MPH 100.40

Modded
Free mods, Ported BBK SSI intake and BBK 80mm t-body, Lid, pacesetter LTs, ORY, Hooker catback, 4.56 gears, short throw shifter and tune.

Best run on street tires was

R/T 1.31
60' 2.290
330' 6.268
1/8 9.461
MPH 77.62
1000' 12.187
1/4 14.461
MPH 114.28

Car stock put down 314 HP and 330 TQ

Car put down before intake, t-body, gears- 344 hp 360 tq

Car after intake, t-body, gears- 312 hp 330 tq

I know the numbers dont mean **** but I really want to know what the car should run if I strap up some M/T et streets and launched at 5k.

What do you guys think I should be running, remember im at 5820 elevation with high DAs all the time, like in the 8000ft.

Being your DA is ridiculous, i'd say mid 12's if you can hook and why 4.56 gears thats steep as fuggggg

And that seems odd that you dyno'd lower after the intake and TB. . . gears really shouldnt change what you dyno at unless they dyno'd in the wrong gear.

I'm no guru, but i do remember reading that when dynoing you are supposed to use the gear closest to 1:1 ratio, so if you changed the gears to 4.56's then wouldnt the gear you dyno in change?

I'm wondering if they just dyno'd it still in the same gear as before with the stock rear gears which could make a difference, positive or negative im not sure. Just a thought to put out there.

Do you mean 104 mph on the modded timeslip? Did you dyno at the same place? Same correction factor?

We did about 6 pulls, 3 in 4th and 3 in 5th, both were within 1hp of each other. I have seen drops in power with steeper gears.

As for why 4.56s I found GM factory ones way cheaper than a 4.10 and I wanted something different.

Dynoed at the same place, same correction factor, the guy that runs the shop/dyno is an old friend from high school.

And no I mean the 114 on the time slip, thats also what the speedo showed going throught the traps.

No idea how but it did happen, car was pulling hard that pass.

Huh, something was clearly up with the track on that pass. A bolt-on car at that DA is not trapping 114. 104 makes sense. Weird.

well surely is different, but isnt it nearly impossible to find traction?

Thats what I said too, but the car I was running pulled up next to me at the 1/8 then I pulled away from him pretty hard so who knows, with my rpm and tire size it show that I could be around 110 but im going to have my tuner reshow me my rev limit, I thought it was 6500 but if it was 6700 then 114 would be correct.

Traction is actually really good with the tires I have on, it very rarely spins them unless I launch it hard.
