Face?....oh **** man...I haven't heard that in 15 ******* years. That's like Disco Ball old dude. Funny as **** though.
Wait....WTF are we talking about.

that really depends on what year cobra and saleen. like say if there both 03-04's then there both supercharged. but if there earlier than that for cobra there not least not stock...

OH ****...that sucks BIG time man.
Sounds good man.....I think a forged block now, and LT's later (if you choose) is a much better choice, especially being a DD. Gotcha on teh 50#'s..and good luck!
+1
I wouldn't go with a CObra short block though. Since you only have a P1SC (even if a D1SC) you'll lose a lot of low end power from only having 8.5:1 CR. If you get it, a rebuild maybe the best thing anyway, so I'd start from scratch and do as Stop suggests.....go with ~10-10.3:1 with a centrif. I wouldn't go any lower than 9.85:1. ALOT of power would be left on the table if you did. Even if you had to pull a tad bit of timing pending your local pump gas octane, you'd still end up with more power than going with a 8.5:1 setup.
just my two cents.

eventually i may be able to get a f1 but for now its just the p1 till i find a cheap d1. and as for gears lookin at 3.90's since its a dd. so well see how she turns out.

Of course you'd go for a F1a and 4.10s.

thanks stopsign! Always nice to have Input from the knowledgeable stang guys around here. I believe he wants a 4.11 gear? not sure if they make that gear for a stang. I know it runs decent now, so it will definitely be a fun car after. I believe i am the better of the two drivers. And Ryan, the car loves the N20. I should keep it on the 100 shot i think to try and keep things more fair. If i am not mistaken i believe a 150 shot would put me nearly 100 or more RWHP above his. he is shooting for around 450RWHP.

As others have mentioned- 450 is fine but anything over that he's on borrowed time. IMO he should forge his bottom end FIRST if his intent is to make lots of power ie: 500+. P1 isn't the best if he wants to be over 475- D1 will get him there and beyond- most kits will allow you to choose injectors as well so he's not stuck with 42's IF he wants more power. If he's also going with a T56 then 4.10s are fine. If not I'd say 3.90's especially if it's DD.
Nice to see you hear man.
