so my friend just keeps talking bout how oooo so great his sti is. hes like obsessed with subarus but anyway. he says his 0-60mph is 4.4 and im trying to tell him that a 98-02 camaro can get around that time? i did a search but it went nowhere. does anyone know what the average time was?

heres a better question did you out 1/4 mile him? if so give him **** about that. or race him personaly because magazine times are just that he may drive it better or worse.but I believe the 0-60 for our cars is 5.0

Yeah, 0-60 time is around 5 seconds

yea, 5.0 , 5.1 are the numbers that I see all the time.. STI's are fast, but your LS1 is gonna pull on him at the top of 2nd gear, and your def beating him in the 1/4

thanks. ya were going to be racing once i head home this weekend. hes got a nice sti. hes more got it set up for turns n such. pretty much took out all his heavy ****. so hes got a few less pounds then me..... should be interesting though. ive beaten stock sti all day before.. so no worries ill hold it down

He's got AWD so launching will be in his favor but you'll reel him in shortly after If you went from a roll he's toast.

Run him from a 60mph roll Our cars are monsters on the highway, they really don't run out of steam until 145mph.

According to a G-tech thing I did a 5.1 0-60 and a 13.6 1/4, at the track I ran 13.2-13.3s all day long so take what you want form that.

Also, I had a friend with a stage 2 STi, he was around 310-320whp and from a 50 roll he pulled me like no tomorrow, he jumped out by a good 4-5 cars on me but around 95ish I had that turned around and started gaining on him and I passed him decently at 145mph. The gearing in STi is so small, there gears run out quick which is why he jumped out on me so good. Look out for that, lol. Let us know what happens.

My car stock with drag radials did around 4.5 0-60. That was according to my video on my cell phone.

on street tires (without heating them up) i get right about 4.4 - 4.5 seconds, but thats with the 3600 stall and very carefully rolling into the throttle.
with drag radials, i could easily see it getting under 4 seconds.

yea see thats what im saying i have nitto 555 drag radials n i think my car def can get a 0-60 in 4.4-4.5ish

and yea he showed me some vids of his car. the typical turbo lag. but god dam hes shifting like every second.

god i hate this guy right now.... we've be going at it for like 3 days talking about our cars. hes just obsessed with his STUPID subaru.

first he shows me the urban dictionary for our cars..... how it says were all stupid trailer trash rednecks who drive these cars.. i mean come now. are we really still in the 60's n 70's here.

then he said with his weight reduction, tires and tune he could do a 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. so i told him bout what i could probly get which would be around the same numbers if i was stock with just drag radials. he went on showing me all this stupid links about how the best we can do is 5.0.... and it also says the best 1/4 mile time us 01 z28 can get is 14 seconds at like 101 mph ummmmmm yea. so he thinks "HE WILL DESTROY ME" with his 4.6 0-60 cuz i can only get 5.0 seconds.. (dam no good for nothing drag radials)

its just like thats why i HATE import drivers... they think their cars are just the ****! n he tried to tell me the Nissan GTR is a better car then the Corvette ZR1...? like um the transmission only last for 12 months and then you gotta pay another $20K to replace it. then pay another $20K in another 12 months... um im ok.

yea were racing this weekend. cant wait hope he falls flat on his face cuz my car eats up stis and hes no difference just has a weight reduction n few bolt ons
