i keep telling myself that i wont come back in here but every once in a while i just need to ask something guess theres a lil ricer in all of us.

anyways, friend of mine has a 95 5.0 GT, m5 with shorties, intake and an x pipe to a stock atback. what kind of power do you think hes making? i really have no idea, not that my LS1 is scared, but just to rub it in his face i need to know a ballpark of his RWHP.

btw, might have a $50 race with the guy, cuz hes soo damn cocky & believes his "5 oh" is a monster lol. hellllllllllo gas money.

Post of a video if you two run 'em. I haven't looked into 5.0 dynos in awhile, but I remember those types of results being typical. If he had a better catback he'd pick up some power, but even with an intake the stock E7 heads are a bottleneck.

It's pretty safe to say you've 100 horses on him and a good amount of torque.

alright. ill try and get a video whenever we do race. he said "i wont race over 100 cuz its stupid to endanger my life for some speed" i told him as long as he can drive straight he shouldnt have a problem, but the race will be longgg over by 100 itll be about a week or 2 though, since i have to break my new posi & gears in first. ill post an update in this thread when it happens, and also a video in the SR&K section.

whwn i dynoed last year a full bolt one 95 5.0 made 226 lol.. and intake and cat back i made 341hp and 352tq... tell him 50 is not worth ur time and make him break out 2 big bills or go home like a little bitch lol

we use to have one at the dealer it was a 5.0 95 5speed fullboltons and it had 86000 miles we test drove this car and would not go past 105mph it took forever 2 get to 100mph so we took it to the dealer we bought it and asked what was wrong with it he said nothing then went in his office and brang out a dyno sheet it made 186rwhp lol it was his car thats why he sold it it was also very very heavy convertible

the only reason why he wont race to 100 is because it will only do good up to around 70 or 80 because of the high torque and no hp to back it up, bone stock he should have 215 hp and 285 tq and to the wheels i would say around 200 to 210, and if he has stock gears in the rear, you shouldn't have a problem.
