Default Horsepower Est. MS4/243s

My Firehawk is under the knife geting a Cam swap done. The car had as LS6 Creat in it when I got the car. Im just wondering what everyone thinks its going to put down for power..


FAST 90/90
243s
42lbers
MS4
1 7/8s Long Tubes, ORY, SLP
M6
Stock Rear

415 HP/425TQ That my thoughts idk though..

from the research i have done i think that setup should be more like 420hp/390tq just cuz you gotta rev that cam hard to make the power

My guess is 430-445rwhp. A friend had a bolt-on ms3 make 430rwhp.

You might want to look into getting a gear in it if you are going to run the MS4. My good buddy ran an almost identical setup with 4.10's. IMO, if you don't get gears, it will be a pain around town and take off.

Gears are the next deal but I think Im ganna save up for a 12bolt..

My guess is going to be around 450hp an 425tq give or take. Depends on the dyno and the tuner.

im doing H/C/I swap soon i have a LS6 engine also. Right now i have full bolt ons and a tune (396hp/393tq)...im going to go with a

Fast ported 92 intake, 92 NW tb
MS4 cam
TSP LS6 2.5 ported heads
and a re-tune
thru a M6 and a stock rear end...Wonder how much power im going to put down after the mods ?

Id like to know with the heads cus I think this winter if I stay busy with work and feel Im safe..Ill prob do the ported heads..Im going to pick the car up this afternoon..didnt have time for a dyno, Ill have it done sooner or later..

i would say about 440hp and 400torque. gears would definately help you out on low end

If you are going to keep it on the street you might want to look into a 9". From what I have read on here the 12 bolt is used more for the track.

Well got it home..Does need gears BAD but ran great until I shut it off..Fuel pumps out I guess..pos

I finally got some time to do it at a car show. Drove it 500 miles let it set maybe 30 min. put it on

424HP/371TQ

i would say 9" for a m6 and a 12 bolt or 9" for an auto

some having ms3 or ms4 is it right to have stock 3.23 or 3.42 so it can have top end something like that? iam researching on this cuz iam going almost the same setup.

Mine still has the stock 3:42s right now. It has a lot of top end but man down low its a turd..Ill be doing 4:10s soon in a 12 bolt..I dont drive mine everyday also..

does anyone know why his tq seems high for the setup?

edit:disregard my post i thought he stated it in the 1st post but he was just guessing that number. actual number is in post 14# lol my "B" yo!
