Default My car vs trex camaro?

Which one do you guys think? Specs are below

My 1998 trans am:
-all in sig + 4.10 gears will be in for it.
-I am still on a mail order tune

His 1998 z28 camaro:
-Ported 806 heads like mine
-Has longtube headers and full exhaust with borla catback.. and a normal cat on the I pipe? He put on because.. well idk why
-trex cam v2
-Stock 3.42 gears
-Stock ls1 clutch
-he is also on just a mail order tune
-also still has stock ls1 intake

Neither of us got dynoed or ran at the track since cam, im not a super pro driver but he's pretty bad from what I hear at least.. lol

on the street or at the track?

i think you are going to get raped either way. you stand a better chance at the track though.

go from a dig, that way you really utilize the gearing advantage you have over him. if you go from a roll, you are def. screwed.

i mean you are racing a guy with a much much much bigger cam, a little less gearing other than that, you have the same mods. Unless he's a horrible driver, I think you have your hands full

Is that because of fuel issues or what?

This is common sense. You got a Trex that can't get into its power band because of the rev limiter, its being choked to death, and it has no gears to make up for the loss of bottom end.

You probably make more power than he does, and also have a better power curve.

I think you will get him, especially if his rev limiter is set at 6,000 and he is running 3.42 gears.

Idk i've always told him that.. he has a ory but he put a cat on the I pipe.. for no reason, cause he liked the deeper sound was his excuse. And yea, he didnt wanna go over 6000 so he left the rev at that

well the cat thing is understandable. a high flow cat doesn't rob you of too much hp and it does give a car a deeper tone.

where at in PA are you btw? I just noticed you are in the good old keystone state
