VERY close race, I would give you the advantage though..

His race weight is still under 4k lbs.. Granted he isn't too big of a guy.

My son has a 03 vert weights 4k with him (160) puts down 460-480 rwh
with drag radials on both we run within .005 (which is about 1-3 ft)of each.he is 2-3 mph faster. NA I am a little slower, but out of 10 runs I will take most because I am more consistant, should be a good run( na I put down a little less than you, I am a4/stalled)

I am going to assume they are racing from a roll.. His 6 speed should help him out WAY more than your stalled a4.
It takes a lot for a stalled a4 to run with a pullied Cobra.

A few variables...but I'd give the nod to you 9/10 times.

Assuming 'picking it up' means he will be new to the car. He needs some seat time IMO.

I'm thinking it won't be. Not at first anyway. But, I'm only human and have been known to be wrong before.

knowing how to drive a stick has little to do with knowing how to drive that car.

Should be pretty close, but I think you will have a slight advantage.

Your right. To the OP: your friend is used to AWD not RWD. You go from a dig, he better know how to control his back end IF it decides to sit sidewayz through a gear or two. BUT i will give you the benefit.
