Import vs Domestic Top Speed???

Corvette, S2000, LS1 F-body, Mach 1, '03-'04 Cobra, pretty sure a PI GT will hit 150mph, S197 GTs will, SRT-4 and Mazdaspeed3/6 maybe? '03+ Accord V6, Acura TL and CL Type S (maybe the regular ones), I think the '05+ RSX-S, late-model V6 Altima and Maxima, 350Z/370Z... that's all I can think of right now. Atleast for the < $50k.

I seriously doubt an 03 Accord V6 or Acura TL will hit 150. I've had my 6 speed coupe up to 130, but it took forever to get there, at least relative to my bike and the T/A 
Plus, I'm pretty sure the 04 and up models had a speed limiter less than 150.

Also another college has a CL type s 6 speed, its a bit beefier then the the accord (3.2 v 3.0) but has been right below 150 once so i have no doubt about that also.

When I had my 02 WRX, I was driving back from Wednesday Night Drag Races with race gas in my tank. I had a Stage 4 kit and thought it was pretty quick. I was driving down HWY 85 minding my own business when a 545I came flying up from behind and cut over across my lane almost clipping the front of my car. I got really pissed, and it was probably the beginning of my HATE for BMW's. Anyways, I down shifted and caught up to him and he tried to take off on me. We were probably doing 80+ at the time. I thought I was going to put bus lengths on him since his car was stock. Think again. I pulled him until 130+ and then my WRX gassed out. No more gear. Honestly. He drove past me and kept pulling like no tomorrow. It humbled the hell out of me. Gear is king for top end. I found that one out the hard way.

if i really want to see how fast my car can go i'll put it up on jack stands... personally i feel my life worth more then trying to find out how fast it can go on a non race track prepped road which endangers others lives, others who maybe in my car and myself... when i was young and dumb i did 140 stock on a back country road in ND... that was enough for me, not worth dieing over. besides, aren't most wrx's, sti's, evo's and a few others inspired by drift and rally racing?

HAHA! That must of been scary... I am renting one right now (which why I brought the Kia Rio up) because my cars in the shop & the thing scares me at 85mph... steering wheel all shaking & if I hit a ditch the thing swerves. POS!
Haha yea. I got a couple friends with Subarus. One has an STI & the other two have WRX. Their gears are WACK! The guy in the STI is constantly shifting if we run.... Haha. By the time I am just getting into 2nd hes already in 3rd gear then at 70mph hes in 4th. Then at 100 hes in 5th already!
