400whp @ 3500-3600lbs should trap 117-118 all day in a m6.

I knew that 395 rwhp dyno was BS. These numbers are right in line with what I expected based on the traps speeds, etc.

Great numbers, man!

Great numbers, man!

i am about 95 percent confident the 395 rwhp test car had non restrictive cats, or none at all. the cat pipe is a straw. removing it is most of the new performance. the tune is very little IMO. it seems ford's preproduction had an optimized exhaust. the actual production cars have the crappy version. ford only wanted 412hp, so the exhaust keeps it there.

found the cam specs. intake: 260 advertised .473" lift) / exhaust: 263 advertised"---.432 lift)

for reference the usual duration runs from 195 - 205 @ .050" for 4.6 dohc.

had to edit. actual @ .050 arent published. but, the frpp high lift cams that this motor started with have a few degrees less advertised duration.

frpp cams: intake duration 258°, exhaust duration 254°, 109° center line. frpp cams operate to 7000 rpms.

fr500 racing cams are:

FR500 (M-6550-T46)
intake: 212 deg @.050 /.472 lift (measured duration)
exhaust: 208 deg @.050 /.472 lift (measured duration)
109 LCs

those cams are good for 7200 rpm with fr500 intake.470 rwhp is the max so far with fr500's.
