Cocky BMW...
So this guy who apparently is really awesome and builds motor for a living (so he claims) is talking up his Bmw 330i like it's some god machine. It's an e46 330i, so like a 2002 or something. He claims it can "hold it's own" without the bottle but he's supposedly got a 75 shot on the stock block and says "it can handle it". Just curious if anyone who knows anything about these cars can share some input because it'd make him realize what a real car can do if I beat him even with him spraying.

57 viewers and not a single response? Okay maybe the guy is a BIT vague on what mods his car has but let's put it this way... he said he sprays so he can keep up with Mustang GT's... most likely lightly modded ones. I figure he's got the basics intake/exhaust/tune, etc. Stock they're like mid 14 sec cars so even with the bolt-ons he's probably not into 13's... I'm just curious how much further a 75 shot will take him. No one?

Oh yeah sorry about that..
I drive an 09 370z base with 6mt and practically no options. In other words it's as light as the car gets. Of course once I told the guy this he just shut up and didn't say anything else and this was after he said he was faster than anything my friends could bring.... apparently he didn't know what I drive.

Yes the car is bone stock and has a little less than 5k miles on it and has been broken in appropriately and runs perfect. Right now I have no official times for me driving and I don't really plan on it anytime soon. I figure it'd be fairly even if he sprays and a total joke if he doesn't. I doubt he's breaking 300whp with the shot.
I'm used to the car by now but haven't really had much experience with launching it too much since it's my daily driver and I have to get somewhat decent gas mileage!

Well I've launched it a few times and I don't just sit there and spin... it ups and moves ou. I'm slipping the clutch out at a little under 3000 rpms and keeping the throttle in check. We'll just have to see if he ever says anything because he's disappeared for a few weeks now haha
