98 Z28: LTs, ORY LS6 intake, 3600 stall

00 Mustang GT: Vortech V1 @ 10lbs, ORX, throttle body, 3800 stall, 3.73 gears.

I don't know what power he puts down since he bought the car this way, but just wanting some input on how I should do. It's all for fun and we're good friends. I just don't want to go in thinking I should beat him or it should be close if it won't be. I've never ran an FI GT yet so I don't know what to expect.

Id put my money on the stang on that run. I would assume @380rwhp give or take out of that setup. On DRs he should get you good imo.

Damn, those cars do love FI lol. I would have thought the stall would've taken more hp from him. Oh well, it's all in good fun. Thanks for the input.

If I end up keeping my car til next year I'll be getting a built trans and cam. If I have enough money left over a nitrous kit will be ordered too.

Myself beat a 01 GT with a procharger at 10 psi auto, 4.10 gear. My car 00 SS LT TSP x pipe Hotcam and a 9inch with 4.56 gears. I beat him by 2 car lenths. He said is car dynoed a 366 rwhp and forgot torque. I thought he would be put more down than that but with a stalled auto and 4.10 gears it a power robber for sure.
