What #'s should I be looking for? TSP TV3

Default What #'s should I be looking for? TSP TV3

1998 Trans Am A4 with Torquer v3 cam, stock heads, LT's, Lid, Weiand intake, 3600SS. It will be tuned on a Mustang dyno. Guesses anyone?

400 ish. the tv3 needs a better set of heads honestly. that cam also needs to spin up to about 6700 rpm. so if you plan on spinning it up that high you might see 425.

i assume you have stock lifters, rockers, and valves?

Probably only going to spin to a conservative 6200-300 for right now. Heads will come in the summer. Yes, sotck lifters, rockers, and valves. What are you trying to get at with that comment? jw.

if you want to spin it up to around 7k i would recommend morel lifters, ls6 valves or lightweight valves of some sort, and a lightweight roller rocker set. you don't HAVE to do all that it's just insurance.

when u do the heads this summer it would be the perfect time to upgrade your valve train. just saying.

Yep, I agree with you and I plan to do the lifters, new valves, and springs with the new heads. Going to do new rod bolts as well.

+1 on 360-375 ish rwhp. A4's dont produce good numbers, just good track times!
