Default What should she run??

i run 1/8 mile but 1/4 guess are fine

99 T/A with zero weight reduction other than no front swaybar
347ci ls1 out of 02 camaro
afr225's @59cc
236/242 .615/.615 111 LSA Raptr cam
1-3/4 headers w/ cutout
UD pulley
36# injectors w/ fuelpump
LS6 intake and stock TB
edge 5000 converter, shift kit, etc...but not built just freshened up
3.42 rear 10bolt w/ nitto drag radials 12" wide (i think this is most of my problem) 17" TT2's
LCA's, Subframes and i guess that's about it

ide like to know what i should run because my best is 7.70 @ 91.25mph w/1.70 60' that lifted the front left about an inch! haha so the spectators say anyways.

You can run high 10's with your setup. My old setup stock bottom end H/C/I LS1 went 10.90@123mph full weight and stock suspension.. Like said before get rid of the LS6 intake and TB..

Good luck on your quest for 10's buddy..

pretty much stock suspension, no weight reduction, might take the AC off since it doesnt work anyways. stock front shocks w/117k on them and monroe(replacement shock) on the back a 2years old.

I am also thinking 730's - 740's , However 5000 stall seems a little high , your probly wasting some power with that converter . and those TT2's are not helping either . my car picked up a honest 2 tenths going from ZR1's to Weld rodlites with the 15x8 / 15x4 combo . Like others have said those are some big heads for a 347 , the LS6 intake is great for a mild combo , but your car with those heads is in need of a FAST 90/90 ! If you can change a few things and get your combo working together low 7's are in the future.....

looks like i will be moving towards a rear-end first, hopefully shortened 2" a side, then the drag wheels, then the intake and other stuff.... like some have said, with a sticky tire that rear is going to snap!

Too much head? they are the small bore 225's and in the sticky "quest for 500hp" mamo/pat g or whoever posted that switched out the aft205's for 225's and it helped a bit

i have seen lots of ten second ten bolt auto cars, depends on the setup but ten bolts last alot longer in a auto then a m6 car, op what is your exhaust setup?

1 7/8 headers and a good dual exhaust set up will help alot, fast setup would help, weight and suspension honest op there is alot left in that setup, how well does the car hook?

exhaust is 3"Y after headers followed by a 3" cutout, does not hook very well on the 315 nittos, spins a good 50-70ft...by spin i mean not fishtailing but not a dead hook for sure. im sure a 3.90 or 4.10 gear would help (if it hooked) but waiting on that to go in a stronger rear. the cam suggests 4.10's and 4k converter. i am yet to dyno tune but cam should start making power around 36-3800 and since the heads are a little big i would assume it would kick in around 4000+

also all runs have been with spare tire and all in the back, not that it will make that much of a difference...i dont think
