i love seeing the treads of what do i need to beat this brand new car.. i have an idea. A DIFFERENT CAR! you are driving a 97 lt1 and he has a 12 ls3... do the math. Lighter and faster with a better drivetrain. unless you want to sink around 15k... good luck

you need to buy a vette, or spend at least 10k. engine and trans need allot of work. so does your suspension. the new z06 vette can hit 11s.

so yeah.....you'd have a much better chance of beating me in a race

They can actually hit 10's stock with better tires.

new car no dont think so 97 camaro is my baby, u can build anything to out run somthing else just takes the right specs, money etc... and my step dad is telling me theres no way a camaro will out run him....i beg to diff its a bowtie product anythings possible yes money will be dumped into it i under stand....but my question is is going with a lsx 427ci all motor gonna b better then maybe a ls1 twin turbo(if anyone has an idea of whats in that camaro lmk)....still looking for reliablity and drivrabilty sinking 15k and building it myself is a better accomplishment then buying something off the floor that i didnt build, u know that rich guy that has that awsome car n u ask him whats in it and he just tells u what he read on a piece of paper yea im not that kind of guy. yes may take me a bit to build it with that price range but well worth it imo. also what type of suspension would yall recommend
