But you really just want to see that other car run.
... Because I know I've done it a lot. I appreciate a fast car for being a fast car, and want to see it while it's "being" a fast car.

I haven't lined up with many in my C5, but there have been a few times I lined up expecting to take a loss. Twice at the track, once against a Lambo Murcielago which I unexpectedly put a beating on by nearly 1/2 a sec. and once against a '78-'83 Chevy Malibu 1/4mile track car which I ended up out running by 4 tenths & 12mph. Not sure exactly what was under the Malibu's hood but the only reason I took the win was due to a perfect launch (1.8 60' on half wornout 275 non-DR street tires) & I treed him. The couple times I did expectedly loose was racing an exhaust & sprocketed Yamaha R6 at a 20mph roll which beat me by 1.5 car lengths by 130mph where I started reeling it in. The other loss was a 50mph roll against a friend's 670whp turbo Supra. That was a raping waiting to happen.

All the time, I don't care what it is, if he wants to race I'm down. Raced a scion before, and I've raced multiple coyote 5.0s. Slaughtered the scion and got dragged down the highway by the mustangs. I've played with.SRT4s, EVOs, G35s, cammed foxbody, etc. only thing I've lost to is the new 5.0s. For a stockish 98, LS1 fbody cars put up a good fight.
Oh and a 383 SBC Monte Carlo full race car that put 2 cars on me, after letting off cause he didn't think I was racing lol.
