Ok guys results are in!

It made 381/350 to the wheels.

I was not able to make the ls6 intake deal go down sadly!

With an LS1 intake that is not bad.

LS6 will put you at 400/380 pretty easily I bet.

Hey Martin do you think and ls6 intake makes that much of an increase? I figured that might only net me like 10/10 hp/tq more?

On a bolt on car it's worth 10-15hp. Cam only I'd say it's worth a good bit more. Might as well go ahead and drop a Fast on it.

So what if I did an LS6 intake, new heads, and a ported say LS6/2 TB could I hit 430?

I think that would be within the realm of possibility.

I am curious as to what the goals for this custom cam were?

Boostedfury- why did you not go with an off the shelf cam? what were you looking for with the custom grind?

Initially I had hoped to break 400 but the plan was with an ls6 intake manifold and 25% pulley but those two were never installed..

Reason I chose custom spec I figure go to a professional who knows the ins and outs of the motor over my lack of knowledge!

in the end a custom cam will always be better suited rather than any grind off the shelf, because it will be custom suited for your goals and current mods. Plus alot of people often buy to big when they get a off the shelf cam.
