Default GI: Moser 9" complete 3rd member, 35 spline axles

For sale locally, once I get a replacement...

This is a seriously strong, relatively light-weight unit with a Detroit Locker diff, 35 spline axles, and Moser's thru-bolt aluminum case. It has the fancy red anodized pinion support. It's a beautiful piece. I think this same 3rd member goes for around $1,700 new from EPP, the axles go for $300.

I got it from DLS a while back, had it in the car for around 500 miles, zero passes at the track. This unit was set up by Scott at DLS using 4.10 gears (pro street I believe). It's not bad as far as gear noise is concerned. The reason I'm selling it is because the locker made too much clunking for my liking with mainly street use.

I'm thinking $1,500 for the axles and 3rd member is a fair price....all you need is a housing!

Here's a likeness pic.

Truthfully,I would just remove the locker and run a spool.Spools are alot easier to street drive in a Auto than the locker. That will save you a loss.

Just an opinion.

I'm tempted to try that but a little gun shy. I drive a lot in the city, many tight turns.

BTW, Don, please keep your eyes open for a Procharger for me. I'll be willing to shell out the cash for a new one, eventually, but a good used one would be nice to save some $$$.

No one needs a good rear end? Anyone else could buy this thing a pop a spool in there if they wanted to. This is a super nice 3rd!

Sorry, no ABS. I don't think Moser will do ABS with the aluminum case.

Non-local sale pending....

This might be the last chance for local buyers to jump on this. I'd rather not ship this stuff and I wouldn't mind seeing my parts go down the local track lol. I've got pics of the actual parts if anyone is interested.
