2nd Annual New Age GTO SHOWDOWN @ Cecil County Dragway, Rising Sun, Maryland ~ October 16th & 17th 2009

Just like last year my friends have a private track rental for their Buick club on October 16th & 17th @ Cecil County dragway in Maryland and have invited all of us new age GTO’s owners to come and have our OWN race on Friday & Saturday. Buick’s and GTO’s will not be competing against each other. We will each be running our own event.

On Friday we will have an open test & tune all day 9am-4pm with an option to run in a gamblers race for an extra fee. We will be able to make as many passes as we want since it will only be us GTO’s and the Buick guys… and a few 7 & 6 seconds car testing for the shakedown @ E-town

The fastest 8 GTO’s (those who don’t make the Q8 can still compete in either the auto or manual class)
Must be 2004 – 2006 Pontiac GTO
Must be LSX powered
Must be stock style Chassis no tube or fully backhalfed “Mini tubbed allowed”

Less then a month away

the Hotel block was full so we got more rooms at the discount price and extended the cut of till October 1st

Friday is canceled due to the weather that we are going to be getting in Maryland

Everyone that is pre reg for Friday I will have your refund sent out next week please PM me your address or for the ones I see all the time I will have it on me the next time I see you.

For those who have Hotel rooms you can cancel by 3pm on Thursday if you don’t want to head out till Friday night.

They are trying to figure out a rain date but not 100% sure they can get us one
