Please keep a look out- our truck was stolen in Laurel, MD
Our truck was stolen from the driveway of a job site in Laurel, MD.
It's a 2001 Ford F250 crew cab, full length bed, hunter green. At the time of the theft, there was a LARGE metal A frame in the bed used for hauling granite countertops. They could have managed to push that out by now though.
There is a crack in the windshield, and no inspection sticker. We should be so lucky that they would get pulled over for that.
Almost as bad as the truck, is the fact that 10 years worth of accumulated tools were in the truck. Stuff Sean has accumulated from all of the years of installing stone, it's worth thousands and most would be totally useless to someone who doesn't install granite.
Plates are Pennsylvania YTA7866.
Please keep an eye out.
Our helper was loading up the truck and was going in to get one more load of tools while Sean was cleaning up. He left the keys on the bedrail, and went inside, next thing they know the truck is hauling *** down the road, out of the development. Our brand new generator was on the tail gate when he left and according to a witness, fell onto the road where some other scumbag showed up and asked for help putting it back into his van, like it belonged to him
So anyway, I think this guy was scoping the truck out, because he got to it within a couple minute time frame where the keys were available and no one was around.
This sucks

On a sorta off subject on the generator. My wife watches "Cops" all the time and I get a good laugh when they do a stake out with a nice bike on a Louisiana street corner and how many dumbasses just grab the bike and start walking like its nothing.
When they get caught, all the BS they talk and then when they are cornered, they have nothing for cops. LMAO!

Yeah refer to that thread.
The scumbag they caught driving the truck matches the same description of a guy who walked into the new construction they were working at an looked around. Sean took note of him because he was kind of... errr... out of place, but didn't give it too much thought.
I am sure he was scoping things out and waiting for any opportunity. An hour later, when the truck was almost loaded up and the keys were left for a MINUTE, that fugger probably hopped out of some tree or something and the rest is history.
